British Olympic Coach Shaun Caven believes Oklahoma City has Olympic potential. Leaving behind his British team, Coach Caven has moved to Oklahoma City and is now recruiting youth ages 8+ to try sprint kayaking. The fun is in learning to kayak – the excitement is in racing! Sprint kayak programs are now available for youth ages 8-10 and 11-19 at two locations: the Chesapeake Boathouse on the Oklahoma River, downtown, and the newly renovated Route 66 Boathouse on the east shoe of Lake Overholser, 3115 Overholser Drive.
