Adrenaline-fueled canoes and kayaks will take to the water in the 2008 USA Canoe/Kayak Sprint National Championships and Masters National Championships. Paddlers from across the U.S. will compete in four days of intense racing with national championships on the line.

The USA Canoe/Kayak Sprint National Championships is presented by Bank of America and is an open event for members of USACK. Seasoned athletes will go head-to-head against the sport’s rising stars in a racing series sure to thrill spectators of all ages. Racing begins at 8:00 am each day and continues into the afternoon. Admission and parking are free.

USA Junior Moscow Trials, August 3-4
Oklahoma City will also welcome the top US Junior Sprint Canoe / Kayak athletes for the Moscow Junior Trials on August 3 and 4. Athletes who achieve the required time standard in either singles or doubles will be nominated to Team USA and will travel to Moscow for the PreWorld Championship Regatta, September 3-5.

Canoe/kayak clubs competing at the event include Honolulu, Seattle, Gig Harbor, WA, Cascade, WA San Diego, Washington, Rochester, NY and Lake Lanier, Atlanta, GA.
