Central Youth Rowing Championship

Each year the Central Youth Rowing Championship brings together top junior crews from Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, Louisianna and Texas for a day of spirited racing, district championships and the opportunity to race at the USRowing National Youth Championship in June. CYRC has been held in Oklahoma City since its incepton in 2006, but will be hosted by Austin Rowing Club in 2009 while construction of Oklahoma City University's Devon Boathouse is underway on the Oklahoma River.
